What is the best brand in camping air mattresses there are?

Monday, September 28th, 2009
getreal asked:

I’m going on a camping trip and would like to know if you have used a good quality air mattress that has lasted you for a long time. I’m tired of buying cheap ones and waking up on the floor. I just don’t know wich brand is good quality. Please tell me what brand you have used and how long it lasted. Thank you.

How can I get rid of the stickiness of my tent rain fly?

Monday, September 28th, 2009
Gizzo asked:

My aging tent rain fly sticks to itself when i stuff it or fold it up. Within an hour it’s hard to pull it apart. It’s aged or maybe got mildew or something. Maybe need to clean it with something. Don’t really want to get a new tent or fly if I don’t have to.

Where is the best, cleanest place for tent camping in or near Corpus Christi that has nice facilities?

Saturday, September 26th, 2009
Mark G asked:

First time tent camping in Corpus. We want a nice, clean beach with close restrooms and showers. Being as close to the water as possible is important. Trying to stay near Corpus and not too far south. Thanks for the help.

Where is a secluded secret place to camp or a good camping spot in Santa Barbara region?

Friday, September 25th, 2009
gorgeousdolly1 asked:

I would like to find a camping spot which is secluded or a place where there are little to no humans around. I am looking in the areas of Santa Barbara or Carpenteria. We don’t particularly enjoy crowds of humans. I’ve read some of the websites explaining about the State Parks and it seems they are over loaded with humans.

is it possible to go camping on the beach somewhere along the new jersey shore?

Sunday, September 20th, 2009
Jeffrey asked:

A group of friends and I wanted to go camping, but also wanted to go to the beach, so we decided to combine them both and go camping on the beach. However, we’re unsure if that’s actually allowed somewhere along the NJ shore.

Would you be allowed to set up a tent and stay overnight on the sand? And if so, where?

Thanks!

Leonard

Looking to go tent camping in mid June here in AZ, but don’t want to fry! Any good higher altitude lakes to check out that will have nice (sub 100 degrees) weather for a bunch of guys and a boat?

What kind of snacks to make while camping?

Thursday, September 10th, 2009
megan.hutchins asked:

My husband and I are going camping with some good friends this week who have a 9 year old daughter. She has been wanting to cook with me (i bake a lot) for a really long time. I thought it would be neat to make some snacks while we are camping over the fire. We are camping at a campsite but only have a fire pit and a small portable grill. Any ideas for what we could make? And I would prefer stuff she would be able to do.

Where is the best place to go camping and fishing in early April?

Thursday, September 10th, 2009
strbrstlvr asked:

I want to go camping for spring break and try to do some fishing there too. My friends and I will be in Delaware, and we want to take a road trip somewhere at least 10 hours away.

Preferable somewhere a bit warmer than Delaware and preferably somewhere where we can catch fish, camp, have a fire, and do all that fun camping stuff. If alcohol is permitted, that would be highly favorable!

What kind of battery should I use to power my Tent Trailer?

Monday, September 7th, 2009
Darby L asked:

I have a old school starcraft tent trailer. The battery is missing. I am wondering what kind that I should get to power the inside lights, and equipment. Also, will it charge from the wiring system that hooks up to the tow vehicle?
